To order on line with us is safe.

We use a method of interaction with our visitors that does not compromise the information of the credit card. This system in line is 100% secure. The charges will appear in your credit card as SHALOM BOOKS CORP.

We encourage you to feel comfortable using your credit card to conduct business in our site. However, you can also send us a Money Order, a Bank Check or a personal check. If you send us a personal check it will delay your order due to the fact that we must wait for your funds to clear the bank before we send you any merchandise.

Please allow additional 7-10 business days for shipment of your merchandise if you are paying with a personal check. To order by check, please print the last page number of your confirmation, complete the necessary steps and send it to:

Each article that we sell is carefully examined before shipment. If the merchandise is faulty or damaged when it arrives at your destination, please get in touch with us immediately after your package has arrived. All the claims MUST BE DONE within 3 days after the receipt of your order. The products that are returned must be absolutely new, never used, in order to receive a reimbursement.

We only ship to destinations within the United States territory and Puerto Rico

We send merchandise to prisons, but we recommend that you contact the corresponding Prison to confirm that they accept packages and any special regulations that they may have. Some of the prisons do not allow hard cover books. Others have a limit number of articles you can send them in one package.

We cannot place a special label of instructions on the packages. On the outside of the package we can only write the address of the destination, our company or address. In a similar way, we cannot send anonymous gifts to prisoners. The address of the sender must appear on the receipt.

Due to the fact that prisoners cannot sign for the packages, they have to be sent through the United States Postal Service. We use UPS and FedEx to send merchandise but you cannot use any one of them to send merchandise to a prison.
